Nut Tossies
Nut Tossies Cookies
Serves: ~6 dozen cookies

Ingredients
1 pound Butter
12 ounces Cream Cheese
4 cup Flour, sifted
1 box Brown Sugar
4 Eggs
3 Tablespoons Butter, melted
2 cups Ground Nuts (pecans/English walnuts)
1 teaspoon Vanilla
Steps
Mix together 1-pound butter, cream cheese, and flour. Chill for 4 hours or overnight.
Mix together brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, nuts, and vanilla.
Take dough in small pieces (about 0.5 ounces of dough) and fit into small muffin pans.
Fill with nut mixture (about ½ tablespoon in each)
Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
Notes
May have leftover nut mixture depending on how small you make the pastry shells
Using a wooden tart or mini-tart shaper can be helpful
To measure dough, I use a small cookie scoop to keep even sized.
