Donald Douglass enlisted in the Army on February 22, 1943. Douglass was a member of the 322 Engineer Combat Battalion of the 97th Infantry Division. He was killed in action in the Netherlands on April 8, 1945. He is buried in the American Military Cemetery in Margraten, Netherlands.

(1) Some records, such as the Military Cemetery, list the last name as "Douglas" with one 's'. But IBM and other data uses the spelling shown here.
(2) I'm not 100% sure on the age, but based on some census records, he appears to have been born in 1920.
