George Somerville enlisted on November 13, 1941. Lt. Somerville served in the 335 Infantry Regiment of the 84th Infantry Division. He was killed in action January 3, 1945 in Belgium during the Battle of the Bulge. He was a graduate of Union-Endicott High School and was survived by his wife Rita Sommerville. His body was reburied at Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City in 1949.
