Harold Corey enlisted on June 10, 1941. He was a crew chief for a fighter squadron which flew missions over Tunisia and Sicily. He died in a plane crash in Italy March 16, 1944 during a non-combat mission. His father was a Navy pilot during WW I and was also killed in a non-combat crash on Long Island.
